About UsefulHomeGuide
We help households make better buying decisions through honest, hands-on product testing.
Who we are
UsefulHomeGuide is an independent product-testing and review publication. Our team is made up of testers, researchers and editors with many years of experience across home appliances, kitchen equipment, air and water products and household essentials.
We started with a simple frustration: product reviews online are often thin, repetitive or written to sell. We wanted to build the resource we wished existed — one that tells you what a product is like to live with, not just what the box says.
What we believe
If something is mediocre, we say so — even when it is popular.
Numbers matter, but daily experience decides whether a product is good.
Our job is to serve the person making the purchase, not the company selling it.
How we make money
UsefulHomeGuide is reader-supported. When you click a link and buy a product, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. That revenue keeps the site running and lets us buy products to test. Commissions never influence our scores, rankings or recommendations. Read the full details in our Affiliate Disclosure.
